Tom Hartley

So, I saw this really interesting used car dealer on this British documentary that I was watching. Well, it wasn’t any used car dealer. I was watching “Million Pound Motors” and the gleaming used car dealer that I am referring to is called Tom Hartley.

Tom Hartley is the best supercar and hypercar dealer in all of the UK. They always have a steady stream of classics, limited edition Ferraris from the “disco era”, and a multitude of modern hypercars. They are located in the center of England and about 30 miles north of Birmingham.

With this luxury car dealer, you can’t just stroll into the showroom on a lazy Saturday afternoon to kick the tires. Instead, you have to schedule an appointment with either Tom Hartley (the founder of the dealer) or Carl Hartley (the son of Tom and partner in the business). Then, and only then, will the guards at the gates of the estate let you pass. I think the process is justified since they have to protect the £40 million worth of inventory that they could have at one time.

Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you that the dealer isn’t like your local Subaru dealer off of I-287. No, these Brits have class. In between Tom Hartley’s 14,000 mansion and Carl’s identical mansion is the state of the art showroom. If, let’s say you don’t feel like driving to the showroom, don’t worry! The Hartley Helicopter will shuttle you down to the dealer’s helipad to spend well over what that helicopter costs!

Now, let’s move on to the cars. Tom Hartley has the most exclusive cars at all times. Better yet, he sold the “Holy Trinity of Hypercars” which consists of the La Ferrari, 918 Spyder, and P1 (he’s sold more than three La Ferraris and four 918 Spyders alone). He is the king of the deal and sends out Carl in the “Hartley Choppah” to scour the country for the best supercars. They have even bought Ferrari F40s from the US and UAE! If you have a limited edition Lamborghini Diablo, check your backyard to see if a man in a helicopter with a briefcase full of cash is looking at your car!

Right now the Hartley’s have a La Ferrari, F40, Carrera GT, Countach, and three Lamborghini Aventadors! I didn’t even bother to mention the 20-plus Ferraris and Bentleys that they also have right now! These will probably be sold by the time you read this! It’s like hypercar heaven!
