A New Lamborghini
The Lamborghini Huracan 580-2 was released in the beginning of the 2015 LA Auto Show. Many car enthusiasts found it kind of odd that Lamborghini would release a lower-end version of its already successful Huracan 610-4. (Their Huracan could be seen on every street in London during the summer!)
What I mean by lower-end is that the 580-2 (I'll call it the baby Huracan) has thirty less horsepower that its bigger brother that has 610 horsepower. It also doesn't have the no-frills all-wheel drive system developed by Audi. Instead, it features a "party-all-night ‘till the sunlight" rear wheel drive system.
The rear wheel drive displays Lamborghini's true soul. It allows drivers of the baby Huracan to just have some fun and to get a little reckless. Corners will be addictive since it will be easier to flap the tail around. Isn't that what Lamborghini is all about? Overpriced tail slides that mold a permanent grin to even the most fearsome Russian dudes that might by one of these cars?
Speaking of pricing, this baby Huracan is supposed to be more attainable to potential customers. Lamborghini said it is “competitively pricing” their newest trim of the Huracan to sell more cars. I don't know why Lamborghini said that considering the fact that their Huracan 580-2 with all of the taxes and fees starts at $201,100! Hmmm...I guess its the sub $500,000 price tag that really reals the buyers in?
Let me know what you think about the car and the price tag it by commenting! Until next time and I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving (if anyone found some neat Black Friday deals on cars, feel free to leave a comment)!
